Ubiquiti Unifi Wi-Fi Installation
Henry and Diane reached out to us for assistance with their in-home internet issues, including persistent lag, frequent dropouts, and choppy Zoom calls. These challenges were particularly noticeable in their backyard, where they hosted many outdoor meetings during the COVID lockdowns.
This Ubiquiti Unifi U6 Mesh Access Point was a straight-forward install providing solid Wi-Fi coverage for the second floor. Sometimes we do these U6-Mesh units, other times we install U6 and U7-Wall Access Points, depending on stock levels and what the client is looking for.
To maintain a clean and streamlined look in the kitchen, we chose the Ubiquiti UniFi U6-In-Wall Access Point. It delivered excellent coverage for both the kitchen and family room while also providing an Ethernet connection for their Sonos Bridge.
To ensure robust Wi-Fi coverage in the backyard, we installed an outdoor-rated access point and carefully routed the necessary cabling. We felt the placement looked great, but for clients who prefer a more discreet setup, we typically mount the access point lower, tucking it behind bushes or other landscaping elements.
Ubiquiti Unifi Wi-Fi Installation
This was our starting point for this project. Karim had many issues with his Google Mesh/Bell Wi-Fi whole-home system. We did a consultation, came up with a proper plan, and recommended a new Ubiquiti network including several hardwired ceiling mounted APs, a Unifi Cloud key, and a shelf to mount the new equipment.
The client wasn’t looking to install a network rack, but wanted everything neat, tidy, and organized, while still having room under the shelf for his storage bins. Here you can see the Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud key Gen 2, PoE switch, and Bell Home Hub 4000 on a shelf, with lots of room left for his bins.
Here is the Ubiquiti Unfi U6-LR ceiling-mounted Access Point, providing good coverage for his basement’s game room, a bedroom, and home gym. There’s also a U6-Inwall helping fill in coverage, and provides an Ethernet switch to plug in a PC... lots of Wi-Fi coverage and power for this semi-detached home!
Sleek. Powerful. Practically invisible.
Here’s a Ubiquiti UniFi In-Wall Access Point — one of the best-looking access points out there. It blends seamlessly into the wall and doesn’t look like your typical AP, which our client really appreciated. The built-in 4-port gigabit switch makes it easy to hardwire computers, printers, or any other devices that need a fast, stable connection — all while keeping the space clean and clutter-free.

Small footprint, big performance. 💪 The Dream Router 6 powers it all — Wi-Fi, security, and wired
The heart of a Ubiquiti UniFi Network is a controller. This is a Dream Router 6 sitting beside the Rogers modem. The Dream Router provides strong Wi-Fi for the entire basement, hard wired ethernet ports for her PC and printer, and a robust firewall to keep network safe from attacks, all in sleek package that blends in with any modern environment.
No drops. No drama. 🎯 This Express 6 is keeping the Rogers TV box happy and the client even happier.
Shown here is a Ubiquiti Express 6, providing a stable Ethernet connection to a Rogers Ignite TV receiver — a connection that hasn’t dropped once since install. It acts as a wireless bridge between the Rogers box and the new UniFi network, without the hassle or cost of running a new cable.
Before the upgrade, the TVs would randomly connect and disconnect, and the client was diligently logging every incident! We knew we had our work cut out for us — TVs are often the biggest point of contention on a home network. Other devices can go offline quietly, but when the TV goes down… you’re definitely going to hear about it!
Ubiquiti UniFi Whole House Installation - Ronan Ave. Lawrence Park. Out of sight, fully connected. 📶
Tucked behind this mesh cabinet door is a full Ubiquiti UniFi whole-home Wi-Fi network. You can spot the Bell Home Hub 4500 peeking through, and behind the scenes sits an 8-port PoE switch, a UniFi Cloud Key for network management and camera access via the Protect app, and six neatly routed cable runs — all packed into this small but modern home.
We partnered with the cabinet maker to create a hidden setup that’s both functional and accessible. The install includes four cameras: one dome for the basement, three bullets covering the side, front, and back, plus a doorbell cam. And to top it off, we discreetly installed an access point to ensure strong Wi-Fi for her EV parked out on the street.
Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Camera – Smart features wrapped in a sleek, modern design.
The Ubiquiti G5 Bullet Camera
Keeps a close eye on the front of the house and driveway, while a hidden U6-Pro Access Point delivers strong Wi-Fi for EV updates and seamless connectivity on the front patio.
Ubiquiti UniFi Condo Installation
We did a mesh wifi install for Ginny's Condo just off of Avenue Road and Lawrence. We did a consultation and decided that a Ubiquiti install would be an adequate solution to Ginny's wifi problems.
We installed the router (a Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine) in the living room next to her TV and added an access point to the kitchen and to a table in her reading room. The clean, modern design of the white access points blend into the environment and look great anywhere in the home as opposed to old bulky routers which are common in many households.
As a result, adding wifi access points all around the condo ensures 100% coverage for fast wifi speeds and full bars. Ginny was thrilled with how the system looked and how much better her network connection performed across all her devices. This is a Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Mesh, and it looks quite good on the end table.
St. Timothy's Wifi Installation
When St. Timothy's reached out for help with their Wi-Fi system, we knew it was a church, but we had no idea how big it was!
Initially, we proposed a $10,000 solution, including hard-wiring all access points for optimal performance. Unfortunately, that was beyond their budget.
To accommodate their needs, we designed a more affordable solution at just a third of the cost — and they said yes!
We installed a complete TP-Link system that met their needs and exceeded expectations. It was a pleasure to help them stay connected!
