Build-your-own PC or Prebuilt PC, what’s a better choice?

We get asked the question all the time: Should I build my own PC or buy a custom pre-built?

It really depends how much time you have to research the parts, gather prices, then figure out how to assemble it.

Most parts come with a  30 day warranty, so if you have a problem, generally you can return them to where you got them, and have them test and replace them for you.

When you have a problem, as they used to say in Ghostbusters…”Who ya gonna call?” Amazon, Newegg, etc? You can try, and see how you make out.

When you buy a custom PC from a boutique shop like Signa, you have one point of contact, one phone number, one email address etc, and usually one or two techs to deal with. Oh, you can easily reach the owner as well. It’s a radically different experience. We try and deal with problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. We’re not perfect, and we do make mistakes, but we try hard to keep our clients happy.

Visit our gaming page and browse our prebuilt gaming configurations and try the different performance options and see what you come up with. If you can find exactly what you’re looking for, email us for minor changes and we’ll try and make that option available, or send you a custom quote.
