When Is It Time For A New Computer? The 5 Year Rule

When is it time for a new computer? That's a question everyone asks us. 

“But everything is working… why would I replace it?”

Well, that's a good question 😊 

We have a rule here → if it’s 3 years old it might be ok for an upgrade to get you a few more years and you aren't in the market for a new PC.

Usually we’ll see a computer the customer will tell us is 5 years old (when it’s aaactually 7 which we find out after we look). Now this is when things change…  

This is the point when it’s time for a new computer! We call it “The 5 Year Rule”.

Anything over 5 years becomes more money in labour to maintain, fix or upgrade than it is worth.
