Windows 7 may be a great operating system, but did you know that it's being discoed (techy slang for "discontinued") in just a few months? On January 14th 2020, Microsoft will stop support for Windows 7 — meaning that there won't be any more bug-fixes or security updates released for the OS from that point onwards.
What does this mean for YOU? You'll still be able to continue using Windows 7 after the deadline rolls by... but you probably won't want to. As new bugs and security threats are discovered, there won't be any action taken on Microsoft's part to protect you from them once the deadline has passed. Without any security updates, you will become increasingly vulnerable to malware, viruses, network worms, and the like as time goes by.
It's time to get pro-active and ensure your safety. The experts at Signa can upgrade your current PC to Windows 10 painless and easily, or if your old machine is getting a little long-in-the-tooth, we can help move you to a completely new one that comes with Windows 10. Regardless of whether you choose to upgrade just the OS or your whole machine, our expert techs will have you running Windows 10 in no time — with all your existing files and programs intact. FYI, now is a great time to get a jump on the Windows 7 problem, moving into a new OS a few months ahead of time, before all the panic starts (rather than trying to deal with it at the last minute in the middle of the Christmas crunch.)
