Price drop on Intel i9-9900K 8-core/16 thread Coffee Lake-S CPU.

Intel's most powerful Coffeelake-S LGA 1151 pin processor has gotten a lot of interest, but its high launch price has pushed many people back to the i7-9700K. 

Thankfully we've seen the first price drop from Intel, now priced at only $200 higher than its less powerful i7 sibling. The i9-9900 with 8 cores and 16 threads and a top speed of 5.0GHz is ideally suited for an entry-level workstation.

We think it's a great choice for video editing, productively, and as an entry-level rendering platform. Wow, it's an expensive choice for a gaming PC but it's high clock speed makes it suitable for those machines, too. 

This processor is available as an upgrade with any of our PCs that have an i7- 9700K in them.
