Happy Hanukkah! Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a holiday that commemorates the miracle of the oil that burned for eight days in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem. It is celebrated by lighting a candelabra called a menorah, with one candle being lit on the first night of Hanukkah and an additional candle being lit each subsequent night, until all eight candles are lit on the final night of the holiday.
